long time, no entry.

my day-to-day has undergone several major upheavals, but it should stabilise soon. whilst i'm waiting to see if the industry i (usually) work in follows suit, i'm keeping myself busy.

in terms of this site, i've been playing about with a 'media stream' page. it was intended as a visual index of everything i watch / play / read / listen to in a given month. ultimately, i sacked it off, as it was a messy jumble. it may return in a more streamline form. i'm toying with the idea of it being one page with multiple tabs that hide / show content as and when it's relevant.

outside of my internet endeavours, i've been learning c++. it could be an effort to make myself more employable, to pivot careers entirely, or to have some fun - i haven't decided yet. either way, it seems like a worthwhile thing to have under my belt, and "the time will pass anyway".
